Lovely colt by Weserstar(Westerland/Wenzel/Weltmeyer) - "WEGAS" is a super colt out of excellent performance line dam by Werther/Graphit. Wegas has three lovely gaits, correct conformation and a fun personality. His dam's full sister produced Wanesco 8 who was the recent 5 year Silver medalist at the European Championships and as well just became the Bundeschampionate for 5 year old. Wanesco 8 is by Weltmeyer and so this colt has very similar breeding to this young super star. Wegas' sire Weserstar placed 4th overall at his Performance test in Germany with a super score of 130.09 in the dressage category and an above average score of 105.67 in the jumping section. He is a modern stallion stemming from an internationally successful damline. He has three exceptional gaits and outstanding rideability. His offspring are consistantly also equipped with outstanding basic gaits. Wegas has very rhythmical and flowing gaits so will make a nice dressage horse but he has little knee action so would be an excellent consideration as a Hunter prospect. We also recently did a small free-jumping session with him and as you can see he has super form.
